Our Alumni

 

We are very proud of the progress we have made with the students at The Lexington Ballet. Our students have been accepted to some of the most prestigious schools and companies around the nation.

 

Kayla Max- was been accepted to North Carolina Dance Theatre as a Trainee with their professional company in 2007 and was promoted to apprentice in 2008.

Catherine Porter- was awarded a contract with Nashville Ballet II. She is about to begin her second season with the company.

Maggie Jensen- studied at the Boston Ballet in their professional program.

Cassandra Porter- was awarded a contract with Nashville Ballet II. She is about to begin her second season with the company.

 

Allyson Durborow- attends the University of Kentucky; She has had internships with N.A.S.A in Huntsville, AL where she taught at a local ballet studio. She is also a Creative Movement and PreBallet teacher here at the Lexington Ballet.

Elizabeth Wallace- received a full scholarship with the School of American Ballet, home of New York City Ballet. She is also attends the Professional Children's School in NYC.

Annie Jensen- will be moving to west coast this fall. She will be attending Harvey Mudd College, a math and science school in California.

Rebecca Deitrich- plans to continue her dance education at Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. She plans to major in Ballet Performance.

Rachel Mazur- attends Point Park University in Pittsburgh where she concentrates in Ballet Performance. She hope to pursue a degree in Pedagogy.
