Performances for Schools
Special Performance for Schools and Community Organizations include
group rates for daytime performances. Our 2008-2009 season includes Fabric
of Dance 3D, The Nutcracker, Tales of Beatrix Potter, & Dance Theatre of
Harlem Ensemble. All school performances begin at 10 AM. with the
exception of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, which is to start at 11:00AM. To reserve space,
contact the Lexington Ballet.

Lecture Demonstrations
Lectures and demonstrations explore the rich cultural heritage of
ballet and how ballet, in its constant evolution, serves as a voice for
fresh artistic, cultural, and personal expression today. Students will
learn ballet terminology, elements of ballet production, how to best
experience ballet, and how ballet is studied. The program will include
study guides, audience participation. and conclude with an excerpt from
