

Mr. Dominguez began
his Ballet training in his hometown of Mexico City under Sonia Castaņeda and
Francisco Martinez, he received full scholarships to study in New York with The
Dance Theatre of Harlem as well as The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
In 1988 he joined The Dance Theatre of Harlem and performed with the company
around the world. After 18 years of performing with the company Mr. Dominguez
worked with some of the most prominent figures in the dance world.
As director of the Lexington Ballet Mr. Dominguez has choreographed numerous
original works and collaborated with many arts organizations.
He brings to Lexington principal dancers from the most prestigious companies
around the world and has created signature programs that elevate the standard of
dance in our community.

Mrs. Nancy Dominguez
began her ballet training under Michael Steele and Tomislav Vukovich in her
hometown of Saratoga Springs, NY. She received a full scholarship to train with
with the Chicago City Ballet, under the direction of Maria Tallchief. Mrs.
Dominguez has danced professionally with the State Ballet of Missouri, Atlanta
Ballet, Ballet New England and The Dance Theater of Harlem, performing in some
of the most prestigious theaters around the world such as the Acropolis in
Greece, Teatro Romano in Spoletto Italy, the Kennedy Center, and the State
Theater in New York City.
For the past 5 years Mrs Dominguez has taught all levels in the school and
served as the Ballet mistress for the Lexington Ballet.

Lauren M. Case has taught dance for over 10 years in the Louisville and Lexington area, with a focus on tap and jazz. She has taught arts and humanities and dance in the public schools for 6 years. Lauren has a BA in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky, a Masters in Education from Bellarmine University and K-12 Dance certification.

Mrs. Dlugosinski is a former dancer with the Lexington Ballet where she performed from 2001-2002. She has taught beginner-advanced level classes and assisted with rehearsals and choreography for different dance academies.

Ms. Durborow is a former graduate of the school of Lexington Ballet and is currently majoring in engineering at UK.
